Troupe #8323, otherwise known as SC Playhouse, Is located off Beltway 8 at our beloved Summer Creek High School. Our department, established in 2009, provides a safe space for students to come together and indulge in the wonderful art of theatre! 

Troupe #8323 is proud to be a 2022-2023 Texas Thespian Honor Troupe! Being named an Honor Troupe is a great privilege for our department and is the result of our troupe officers' hard work and dedication. To become an honor troupe one must enroll in  a year-long course through the International Thespian Society which empowers student leaders to advocate for their programs and create community engagement through the art of theatre.

Our troupe was fortunate enough to attend the 2023-2024 Texas Thespian Festival in San Antonio this year! Our members attended theatrical workshops at the festival, viewed several mainstage performances, and competed in various IE, or Individual Event, competitions. We are proud to announce that we came home from the festival with 13 national qualifiers, four of which went to Indiana to compete in their respective events.
